COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

For Skolnik Technical’s in-person training classes, to ensure the safety and health protection of our instructors and students, we expect them to comply with the following requirements, as designated by the President’s Executive Order 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors (and subcontractors & lower-tier subcontractor employees), published by the Safer Federal Worker Task Force.

·        Individuals are required to provide information regarding their vaccination status.

·        Individuals who are not fully vaccinated or decline to provide their vaccination status must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test completed no later than the previous 3 days and comply with appropriate masking & physical distancing (six feet from others) requirements.

 ·        Regardless of vaccination status, all individuals must wear a well-fitted mask that correctly covers their nose & mouth, in accordance with CDC guidelines.

 ·        In conference rooms and any common areas, masks should be worn, that fit properly snugly around the nose and chin with no large gaps around the sides of the face.

·        CDC recommends masks made with tightly woven fabric, i.e., fabrics that do not let light pass through when held up to a light source, masks with two or three layers, masks with inner filter pockets and disposable medical masks.

 ·        Novelty non-protective masks, masks with ventilation valves and face shields (as a substitute for masks) are not allowed.

 ·        Per CDC guidelines, while eating or drinking, for a limited time, individuals may remove their mask although still maintain the appropriate physical distancing.

·        In compliance with safety & security requirements, masked individuals may be requested to briefly lower their masks for identification purposes.

 ·        Hand sanitizers shall be available in the classroom for the instructors’ and students’ use.

 ·        Please use hand sanitizer or wash hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds.

 ·        Please clean hands after physical contact with others or equipment, as well as after coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose.

 ·        Please practice social distancing by maintaining separation with individuals not vaccinated.

 ·        In an effort to provide a safe & healthy educational environment, please do not come to class if you feel ill.  Thank you very much.
