As electrostatic discharge (ESD) can occur anywhere from the receiving stage of your operations, to manufacturing, testing, shipping, and field handling of ESD-sensitive products, it is important that companies implement effective ESD Control programs, including proper ESD assessment procedures. Students in our ESD inspectors' training class will learn how to successfully perform an ESD assessment by correctly utilizing the proper ESD tools & equipment that are included in their ESD Audit kit. They will understand the accurate methods for ESD inspection and will participate in hands-on exercises to demonstrate their understanding and proficiency of equipment use.
To enable your organization to effectively maintain a successful ESD Control compliance program, in addition to the standard official onsite ESD audit that is conducted annually by an objective 3rd party (recommended as industry best practice and is typically required by customers' contracts), it is advised that internal ESD audits be performed periodically by your own organization. As such, this class is offered to teach your ESD inspector(s) the correct methods/techniques to utilize the ESD Audit Tools Kit, to support your internal ESD audit activities.
