Introduction to RF (Radio Frequency) / RF Basics:

This 2-day class will introduce you to the discipline of RF (and µwaves). We study & discuss the theoretical concepts & practical aspects of RF components, design, test and measurement.

  • Spectrum Analyzer

  • Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR)

  • Power Dividers, Combiners

  • Attenuators

  • Upon class completion, you will acquire:

  • Basic understanding of RF

  • Reference Manual of Seminar Notes

Times: 8:30 A.M. to 5 P.M. There is a 1-hour lunch (not included) scheduled from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. each day. There are 10-minute stretch breaks periodically throughout the day.

What to bring: Pencil and paper for taking notes, and a calculator with logarithmic functions if you have one
